Electronics Industry Terms

I was at the Taiwan TPCA tradeshow last week in Taipei, and started to look at the basic electronics terms. I took a quick picture of the show guide to show the characters as they were written on it.

All of the characters in the first line I’ve had to
learn for class individually, after less than 4 months of study.  Of course these are
basic terms, but it’s nice to see a connection between my classes and
the real world.  Here is a breakdown:

  2. Wan (1) – Bay / Gulf

Together: Taiwan, the
country

電路板

  1. Dian (4) –Electrical
  2. Lu (4) – Street
  3. Ban (3) – Board / Plank
