That's a great question. It was crazy when all this started to happen, there were daily articles in the paper and everyone was talking about it. It seemed that something similar happened in Korea too. Unfortunately, I haven't seen graphs that show peoples feelings about US beef. I do know it is a sensitive or passionate subject with people here.

I don't have any stats, but this is one of the 2 daily English newspapers in Taiwan. You can search their archives and there are lots of articles about it. http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/

This is the other daily English newspaper in Taiwan. http://www.chinapost.com.tw/ I've never tried searching their archives, but they should have had a lot of articles also.

Hope that helps!

I just found your blog because I am looking for info on US beef in Asia. I love the sign you posted that basically says "Keep that US beef out of Taiwan!"
I am hoping to find some stats on Taiwanese trust in US beef. I found a great graph that shows people in the US don't trust beef from other countries. Do you have any idea where I could find a graph like that on people's feelings in Asia?
Please email me! henryer1@msu.edu
